Beyond The Firmament
Tales From The Cosmos
18. Hell
- Written by Gift C Enyadike Jr
Allow me to clarify a common misconception. Hell is not simply a place of fire or darkness.
Let me explain to you so that you can understand. Hell is the one place in the universe from which Da Vaada has completely removed himself. Such a state is unrelenting... overwhelming... UNLIMITED AGONY! My words cannot do it justice!
It is not like The One Before, because The One Before is nonexistence.
I will now clarify another common misconception. Sevaasi does not rule it. In fact, he and his host make it a point to avoid it as much as possible, staying between Udamu and Teyra, occasionally throwing themselves against Udamu's gates and being repelled or going down to Teyra to tempt humanity further.
Not that he always needs to, mind you.
Despite his hatred for Da Vaada, he cannot stand the separation any more than any of us will ever be able to.
But there's another reason. You see, at the time of his fall. Pla'daali already had a sizeable population made up entirely of his children, the former denizens of what had once been Vaada Pari. If he were to stay, they would have him in large numbers.
Yes, my Acolytes. In case you need to be reminded, Martians are... or at least were, real, and there is only one way you will ever meet them. Are you still keen?
I would hope not.
