Tales From The Cosmos

You remember the great flood, yes? All life but a family of 8 people and 2 of every kind of animal gone as a punishment for the overwhelming wickedness that had engulfed your world.
Never before had such a great number of souls, wicked or otherwise, been ferried at once, and thankfully, never since, even in the advent of the Jarwa.
Sevaasi had seen Emotar and called out.
"What are you doing?"
"I am transporting the sinners."
"To whom?"
"The Father."
"What for?"
"So that they can be properly judged."
"Have they not been judged already?"
"That is not for me to say."
"Why not just drop them? Cast them out yourself?"
"That is not my charge."
"It would save the Father time."
"Does time not belong to him?"
"Do these sinners? He will send them to where he is not."
"Should I send you there?"
"That is not your charge."
"Begone, disruptor."
"How do my kin taste?"
"What?"
"You have eaten some of my kin. How do they taste?"
"Disgusting."
"How would the humans taste?"
"BEGONE!"
"As you wish."
Sevaasi would never approach Emotar again, and some of the souls taken from the flood would never stand before the Father in judgment.
